Wormholes
“Wormholes'' are shortcuts between distant regions of space or of spacetime. After recalling the Einstein-Rosen bridge in Schwarzschild spacetime as a classic example of a wormhole in space, I will explain a puzzle about wormholes in spacetime that was first raised by Sidney Coleman nearly 40 years ago and that remains unresolved today.
