Some rigorous results about superconductivity
Using the recent reformulation of Eliashberg theory in terms of a classical interacting spin chain, by Yuzbashyan and Altshuler, I will show that for a large class of effective electron-electron interactions the theory exhibits a phase transition between the normal and a superconducting state at some critical temperature T_c.
