Localization phenomena in the infinite random XXZ spin chain
We show that the infinite Heisenberg XXZ spin chain in a random magnetic field exhibits localization phenomena in any energy interval at the bottom of the spectral, in a non-trivial region of the parameter space. This region depends only on the energy interval and includes weak interaction and strong disorder regimes. The localization phenomena includes spectral, eigenstate, and weak dynamical localization in the energy interval. (Joint work with Alexander Elgart.)
