Recent Trends In Analytic Number Theory
Abstract. Classical methods of ANT are based on Fourier analysis in R^n. Modern methods exploit harmonic analysis on hyperbolic spaces. The zeros of L-functions are modeled by eigenvalues of special groups and their distribution is described in terms of Random Matrix Theory. In my talk I will illuminate various corners of current developments.
