12TH ANNUAL WINTER Q-BIO MEETING - Quantitative Biology in the Hawaiian Islands

February 16 - 20, 2025

https://www.w-qbio.org/

Limited Discounted Rooms at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu are Now Available for Registered Attendees!

Dear Colleagues:

We are excited to announce our upcoming research conference in Quantitative Biology! The Winter qBio meeting brings together scientists and engineers who are interested in all areas of quantitative biology. Technology is driving revolutionary changes in biology. Systems Biology has arisen as the deduction of interaction networks from -omics data generated in the wake of remarkable technological achievements. Likewise, DNA synthesis technologies are driving the development of Synthetic Biology, whereby engineered circuitry and even entire genomes can be reconstituted from chemical building blocks. These two emerging areas have catalyzed the growth of quantitative biology: a field with the central goal of deducing the quantitative principles that can be used to construct predictive models for biological phenomena.

The venue for the 2025 w-qBio meeting is the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina.  We advise that you register and book your room early if you would like to attend and stay onsite as there is a limited number of discounted rooms.

Bridging scales and biological systems, University of Graz, Austria, 23—27 September 2024

No conference fee/registration mandatory/submission for contributed talks open
https://colibri.uni-graz.at/en/complexity-of-life-conference-2024/
Deciphering the relations between the different dynamical and structural levels coexisting in complex systems is key to understanding their functioning, but also represents a formidable challenge. From biomolecules to cells, from cells to complex organs, from individuals to ecosystems at large; nowhere is this challenge more arduous than when we try to understand life. Addressing it requires a collective, creative and necessarily interdisciplinary effort. This conference aims to gather scientists of different areas, from experimental biology to physics or mathematics to discuss current advances on the topic, one of the key research questions of the science of the XXI century.
