“The Brownian castle”
We will start with an overview of Wilson's RG picture for 1+1 dimensional dynamics and discuss the Edwards Wilkinson (EW) and Kardar Parisi Zhang (KPZ) fixed points. We then show that there is another non-trivial RG fixed point (which is "free" in the sense that it is obtained as a scaling limit of a uniformly distributed system, but is not Gaussian) which we call the Brownian Castle. We will give some of its pathwise properties and explore some of its crossover processes to EW.
